What is fusion dance?
Fusion is a partner dance that draws inspiration from many different dance styles. Instead of following a fixed set of steps, dancers play with connection and movement to create something unique together.
Micro fusion is when you focus on tiny and subtle movements instead of big footwork. It's danced in a close embrace, exploring small shifts in weight, breath, connection and texture.
What can I expect?

A weekend of fusion dancing with workshops, international teachers and lots of social dancing.
Fusion workshops
Workshops exploring different approaches to micro movements & connection, inspired from multiple dance styles such as Tarraxo, Fox, Folk & more!
Social dancing
More than 20 hours of social dancing over three days of parties.
Intro classes
2 intro classes to micro fusion for beginners before the parties
Community
A warm, welcoming space for both beginners and experienced dancers.

Who is it for?
Everyone who is curious about fusion! Whether you're completely new to fusion or an experienced dancer, you're welcome. If you come from another dance style, you're encouraged to bring your own movement and experience with you.
You don't need a partner. Throughout the weekend, you'll have the chance to dance with many different people and explore different ways of moving and connecting.
Dance for Justice
The mikrokosmos event wants to support and create awareness of Dance for Justice: an international fundraiser and awareness campaign centred around the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women" on November 25.
Festival Pass Price
The Festival Pass opens up for the whole experience: workshops, social dancing and everything else included.
We offer a sliding scale for payment to accommodate people on lower incomes.

Single Night Ticket
Instead of going for the whole weekend and for the workshops, you can also buy a ticket for just the social dancing that starts in the evening and lasts till late in the night.
